I have been really looking forward to the short trip I had out to Armidale this weekend. For years I have had dreams of photographing the many colours of leaves that cover the Liquid Ambers that line the streets of this historic town. As I drove into town I was greeted by empty branches and thoughts of 'too late'. A quick visit to the very friendly visitor information centre guided me to this street. In the early morning fog I was able to capture the last of the autumn leaves as they shimmered in the damp air, before they quivered and floated down the ground.
