That Golden Light - Tuesday Tip #7

Welcome to Tuesday Tips!  Snippets of information designed to help you take your photography further today!  My Tuesday Tips stem from bits of wisdom and words of advice I have gained over 10 years of being a professional photographer.

Today I am writing about Golden Light - it's soft,  warm,  glowy,  multi dimensional and I think it is just magical.  It's my favourite ever outside light to photograph in.  Golden light makes me feel happy.  One of the best things about golden light is that is comes around twice a day - almost every single day!!!

Timing is the all important thing when it comes to photographing golden light.  It generally shows up about an hour after sunrise and an hour before sunset.  These times can be known as the golden hour,  though sometimes we are lucky and the golden hour lasts longer than an hour.

Do you like shooting during the golden hour?  What is your favourite time to shoot?

To keep updated with the hints and tips I will be posting please make sure you subscribe by email to my blog.  The link is on the top right hand side of this page. All you need to do is type your email address is the ‘enter email’ space then click on the RSS button next to it and you be subscribed!
